Smile Got lucky
so this morning, looking the bike over before a ride I found this:



Its a friggin aluminum pop rivet. Based on the way its in I assume I picked it up on a curve. went right through the meat of the tire, not into the carcass. Spit tested and no leak.

Had the same thing happen but no so lucky mine went in no spit test needed.

You are lucky
I put a brand new tire on my 1989 soft tail and after 500 miles had a deck screw right the center of the tread
260.00 out the window...

Found this this morning also!! Not sure how long it's been there. 10,000 miles on tire.
