I am adding a 21x3.5" DNA Mammoth 48 Fat Spoke wheel on my 94 Heritage Softail Classic. I had a tube installed and running an Avon 120/70-21 whitewall tire. The wheel has the 00'+ hub which has 3/4" sealed bearings.
As my scoot uses 3/4" tapered bearings originally and a mechanical speedo drive. My question is, has anyone done this conversion and kept the front speedo drive? If so, as seeing I would need a speedo drive with a smaller spacer, which unit is recommended? I have yet to order a rotor for the new wheel, so I'm not able to get proper measurements for the right side spacer or the drive side.
Thought I would check here first as I'm waiting on a new rotor. Any and all information or direction is appreciated.
