Default wheel weights

I have a 2012 FLHTK Ultra Limited. My problem none of the dealers who have installed and balanced the tires have not been able to keep the weights from falling off. One came off and dented the front fender, hit so hard paint was knocked off. Others have fallen off while the bike has been parked in the garage after a ride. The latest dealer used steel weights and two have fallen off while sitting in the garage. One dealer ( Vreelands) accused me of taking them off! Now I have not used a pessured washer or any chemical that would break down the adhesive. All the weights came off leaving the adhesive back of the wheel weight. Anyone having this bike with the stock wheels overcome this problem? Every dealership I asked has had this problem.

Easy fix. Take off the weights and put ride-on in the tires. Do a search on ride-on you'll be impressed. Good Luck!

Save the weights use solvent to strip the adhesive from them. Find some 3M 5952 black VHB tape, they won't come off. I got mine off ebay, here's an example. http://www.ebay.com/itm/3M-5952-BLAC...item5d647f2f87

As WetHead stated, Ride-on will balance them out and protect from flats as well.

In almost 50 years if riding bikes and driving autos I have only had one weight come off that I recall. You've been darned unlucky IMHO. There are various internal balancing products, as mentioned above, which should solve the problem.
