Default front 21 ridewright 02flhtcui

I've been looking for some clarification on what wheel to order. These are the two choices im thinking of http://www.dragspecialties.com/produ...umber=02030559 and http://www.dragspecialties.com/produ...umber=02030385
Would i be right in assuming that they are listed for 08-13 due to bearing size and that they will work on my 02 with 1" bearings,08-later centre spacer and trimmed outer spacer?
Wouldn't mind some opinions on the aluminum soft lip vs the steel standard style as well.
thanks

I think your safe in assuming that those wheels are made for the thinner 25mm ID x 15mm wide bearings, unless you find a bearing shim when you remove the LEFT bearing.

If you install your OE 2002 1" ID x 21mm wide bearings, then Yes, use the 08-later center spacer sleeve (which should be the one they used in the replacement wheel) and trim your spacers.

If you chose to use aftermarket 1"ID x 15mm wide bearings, you would still use the 08-ltr sleeve, but use the 08-ltr Dimensioned LEFT whl spacer, effectively "lengthening" slightly your OE left spacer. Re-use your Right spacer

Wouldn't mind some opinions on the aluminum soft lip vs the steel standard style as well.
thanks
Only comment I can give ... I think the softlip looks better

good luck

And sold through DS without using the "RideWright" name?

I really didn't look at the price before now (really didn't need to), but at $1100 and $1000, I guess that would make sense

K that all makes sense. Thanks
There's a note somewhere on their site that says they are made by Ride Wright for Drag Specialties.
I agree that the soft lip looks better, but I'm wondering how they will hold up.i guess there's too many variables to answer that.

The soft lip aluminum wheel is structurally guaranteed for life, so no worries about integrity.
