Default 1997 fat boy alignment problem

Recently sold my Fly Rite chopper and purchased a 1997 Fat Boy. Low miles, fat spoke rims. Everything seems to be in excellent shape, but, not lined up right. Felt like I was going down the road sideways. I adjusted the back wheel and corrected most of it but can't get it lined up right without the belt hitting the side of the tire. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

You got fat 1-1/2 belt...what size of rear tire?

How bout using a pulley spacer?

you can get a pulley spacer for the wheel to give you clearance. it prob has an oversized tire an needs a spacer. sounds like aftermarket wheels since Fatboys came with solid disks. I have a 99 fatboy..same frame an with a 130 rear tire the belt is close to the tire.
