Noticed in an aftermarket parts catalog there is double row 25mm bore bearing for the rear wheel
checked the latest parts book up to 2016 and the single row p/n 9276A rubber seal , now updated to 9276B with metal jacket,
for XL and fat boy applications and both list the single row 25mm bearing for the rear.
No I don't, but I would tempted to try them, certainly on a touring bike. Do they also list a twin-row 1" bearing, by any chance? Which catalogue are you reading?
Found the 25mm bore double row ball bearings in Midwest MC parts catalog located in eastern Missouri, USA.
This is what HD needs to do on touring and softails.
Have done a bunch of bearing calculations on the single row 25mm BB , result , these bearings are over loaded, especially for a two up touring model
XL's pass the stress test for solo riders.
No double row 1" bore BB's, listed.
Has anyone tried the double row bearings?
