softail wheel ?
Hi, have a 99 heritage softail with aftermarket custom wheels and would like to go back to wire wheels, the custom wheels have sealed bearings like on 2000 and up bikes so would I be able to use like a 2002 wheel or have to go back to a 99 and older and change to the tapered bearing that where used on them . maybe there are other changes that I don't know about . any info would be helpful thanks inadvance

you can use either...you may need different wheel spacers...the 99 an down wheels have tapered bearings so torque may be different for the dif bearing types. the centering hole on the rotors an pulley are different, the 2000 up use a larger diameter....you can get an adapter ring to use the larger on the smaller. for the pulley you can get a spacer that adapts the center hole size.

thanks for the info , it has custom rotors and matching machined rear drive pulley so I'm guessing I would be good with a 2000 and up wheel as I already have the newer style bearing setup . thank you for the info
