Never used Shinko's but a friend who rides a Triumph had one go so south in a hurry last year on I-75 at 70 mph with his gal on the back ... No one was hurt but underwear was destroyed ... This tire had been replaced weeks earlier ... No thanks to the Shinko line.

Yes I know, haven’t tried one yet. Night Dragons though, the only way I would put one on is if I had a flat and was stuck on a ride and it is the only choice I had,... I would plug my tire and ride on it before I would if I could...It’s why I carry a flat kit always.

I run shinko 805s on the yamaha. Good tire but its a dualsport tire so they tend to wear FAST. Thanks uncle larry for the picture now i know not to run those on the tiger. They look a bit like tkc 80s but i digress. Must be the shinko clone. With dualsport or adventure bikes its a trade off of giving up longevity for offroad grip or mud performance.
There is one tire i will run on my harley and that is metzeler 888s. I usually have to change them at the 7 year mark before i fully wear them down.
