Looking for a 21 18 combo I like the mammoth dna fat spoke but they have gone through the roof is there anyway or anywhere to buy a cheap combo I also like the fordged spoke style need help thanks
We have several HDF sponsors who sell wheels. Take a look in the Vendor Directory, in the blue bar above. They may be able to help, may also offer a members discount. You're not going to get fancy wheels like those for cheap IMHO!
You can usually pick up DNA's or King's for under 500 a wheel in fat spokes. They aren't ridiculously expensive and my last set saw 20,000 miles, several tires, and one wreck with no issues and the finish held up well (I had black wheel/hub chrome spokes). I went solid chrome on the Ultra and I'm sure they'll see plenty of miles as well. I can't bring myself to spend 2000 bucks on wheels on a bike I ride the hell out of. If it was a bar hopper or something I parking lot pimped sure but I take mine all over the place and dinging a wheel that expensive would break my soul lol.
