Wheel spacers on wheel swap
I've looked through several threads regarding this, most of them about someone's specific application (What wheel spacers do I need?). I'd like to know the process on how to set up a wheel correctly so accurate measurements can be made. The wheels that I'm using call for .004 to .018 for endplay. It seems pretty tight, is eyeballing the rotors in the calipers close enough? Once I do have measurements can you buy spacers of that size or is a lathe necessary? Just for reference, I'm going from a stock 16x3 spoked 99 Softail wheel, 3/4 axle to 16x3.5 Ultima 48 fat spokes.
