2000 Dyna spokes or mag
I just got a 2000 FXD Dyna superglide and it has a Fatboy solid rear and the Dyna 19" mag on the front. I am thinking the 19" spoke would look better, but don't how much hassle it is to change the rim? Should i just keep the mag or switch? I hear the spoke will have to have a tube, but is a stronger rim.

Since the fender will fit it, you might as well go for a 21" fan up front. Nothing else looks as good as a 21"er up front. Since you want spokes, it pays to get decent spokes that will look great for years, and that are easy to take care of. This demands polished stainless steel spoke. For an added design, you might want to get those spoke ground with a design. Something like this...
This design is called the "Diamond" design, and they "flash" 40% more than straight spokes. (So says the maker.)
Cross thread points?

I like those spokes. Only down side is we just put new tires on and the front is a 19". I guess I better look for a tire and tube if i want to go 21. The fender was going to be my next question, but you said it would clear so i should be good there. The bearings and axle should be easy too, just match what I have now. Now the bikes that came with spokes, did they have 19" or did they come with 21" also? This is all new to me, so I want to learn as much as possible. Already checked the weight, 640lbs and it sits low. Thanks for the info.

Thanks multihdrdr, I will do that, and thanks for the year spread on those rims every little bit helps. The more I know about this Dyna the better.
Its interesting that I bought this bike from a good friend, he doesn't always agree with the changes I want to make, But it IS My bike now. I'm sure I am not the first person to experience this.
