I have a 21x 3.5 rim that i am going to install on an 06' Heritage... Im trying to see what tire would be best fit. 80/90/21? 90/90/21?? MH90/21??? Also what exactly is an MH90?? Thanks in advance...

3.5" rim Look at a 120/70-21, several brand names available but my personal choice is Avon. Come in whitewall too.

I just bought a 21 inch rim today. The dealer also sold them as a package deal with a 120/70/21 Metzeler. I just bought the rim and did a days worth of research on the tire. I went with a Shinko 120/20/21 from Ebay $80.Half the price of the other tires. Tread wear is the issue but it seems its mostly on the rear. The fronts seems to hold up according to what I'm hearing....worth looking into.

I only got that size because thats what the dealer sold as a package and figured they know more than me about rim tire combos so take it for what its worth. The rim is also 3.5

You ain't gonna like that Shinko, they tend to cup out early and watch yourself when it gets wet out.

Thats the first I've heard about cupping and I read a ton of reviews. But I'll watch for it. The universal positive about the tire is how well they grip in all conditions. "like glue" has been thrown around alot

I went with a 130/60/21. It is slightly wider, and a scosch shorter, so no fender riser brackets, or drilling to tilt the fender, needed on a touring bike.

Bought a 2007 Fatboy in May; has a 21 inch front and the rear has been lowered 1 inch. Bike has a Shinko 120/70-21 on the front with about 5,000 miles on it and I've put 2,000 since I brought the bike home. Have not noticed any performance issues with the front tire wet or dry. I usually get about 10K on a front and 8K on a rear over the years so I'll be looking for a new front around Sept.
Last bike was an '06 Springer with an MH90/21 Avon and I absolutely loved the way it handled. The Fatboy handles okay at speed, but is a bear at low speed, you have to muscle it to turn and it wants to "fall in". I suspect the lower rear and larger front wheel has affected the trail.
