Helping boss man he has a 06 Fatboy didn't like the solid stock wheels. Changing over to the fat spoke. Having trouble lining everything up. Stock axel & wheel is 3/4" new wheels are 1". Got the 1" to 3/4" adapters but nothing is fitting right. Spent roughly 4 hrs swapping spacers around finally got frustrated & called it a day. He said wheels are on it guess we can load it up & take it to a shop.
na hell na I don't except defeat. Worked on many bikes breaking tires down swapping bearings tires brakes ECT.
I'm thinking I need to grind on the spacers some & shim the callipers.
Any thoughts I've seen many others bikes with the fat spokes wheels so I know it's do able.
Ive a friend that battled this same issue, the inner spacers are different as well if I remember correctly. Any way when he was explaining it to me he showed me a small box full of spacers that he had tried until he landed on the right combo. Good luck.
