@Panheadmccl Today, I'll be able to get over to the location where those parts are. Almost sure I have an extra "bowl". I'll PM you with a pic & price.

Thankyou I appreciate that. I was wondering about getting a bolt on pulley like is on my 2007 street glide . Then using a pulley spacer. Any thoughts?

You shouldn't need a spacer. Keep in mind you'll need a longer belt.

If I get the same #tooth why would I need a longer belt? Am I missing something?

I misread your saying a 2007 pulley, they're also 66 tooth. I thought 70 tooth when you said a solid pulley.

You wouldn't need a longer belt or a spacer ... same 66 tooth pulley on the 2007 and remember the wheel is the same on an 08 and an 07

66T came out with the 6-spd. Increased to 68T in 2009

I believe that's the foreign part number. The US part is: 40560-05. It is the same part, but you'll only get search results from other countries searching for that PN. Either way, there aren't many around. I'm having the same issue as the OP and I FINALLY found a set of 08 Spoke wheels to replace my damaged hub (I wasn't willing to risk those first few threads being missing on the final drive). Now I found the remnants of either the inner wheel bearing when I pulled it all apart. It almost looks like a bearing retaining clip. Either way it's not on the parts list so I may still be a couple weeks from being back on the road. BTW just as a side note that I do not recommend...I had a harley tech tell me to just throw star washers on the damaged bowl and run it. I'm a risk taker, but not that much of a risk taker. This was already to difficult to source parts for to have it happen again.

I know what Google shows, but the fact is that part fits the USA version of the 2008 touring bikes, as well as several years of Sportster models. See the link below, and the models that the part fits.

Oh yea. It's the same item. I see on the chart that it's the superseded part number. 40560-05 is just the original number.

Seems like you were really emphasizing that it was hard to find the 08 Rear wheels? Fwiw, 02-08 are the same exact wheel. The 08 is just using different bearings, sleeve & shim.

In addition, if you're referring a Laced Spoke wheel (not 9-spoke wagon wheel), then you could add 05-07 Sportsters to using the same wheel
