Change a valve stem without removing the wheel?

Default Change a valve stem without removing the wheel?
I've seen videos of sport bikes and smaller bikes but how about an Ultra Limited. Can the bead be broken with a clamp and the tire squeezed enough to access the valve stem or it that just asking for trouble.

I see this going south ... Drop either the old or the new valve inside the tire and it may be (very ) difficult to get it out ... One of these may make it a bit easier ??

Not real sure about your bike but it was very easy to do on a 2018 lowrider, just be careful so it doesn't fall into the tire. If it does I think a pickup tool would get it.

a cheap piece of clear plastic tubing will do the same. push on old, fish out, attach to new and thread in.
reason i said one bead is because some times it is difficult to reseat both beads especially on the machine.

If it did, couldn't you just pop the tire like normal? So really not a big deal.

For putting in you could run a line through it with a nut, so you couldn't lose it. Couldn't do the same from outside in, if you lose it, easier find the string or tywrap.


I never thought you would be able to get your hand in there.
