Dunlop D408F Front Tire
I have a set of the Dunlop tires and wheels that came off of a 2010 Street Glide. I'm installing them on my 2009 RG and I happened to notice the front tire tread pattern is opposing the rear tread pattern rather than matching the rear like my 2009 Dunlop tires. I've double checked the rotation arrows and the tire is mount correctly and the indicators point the rotation to oppose the rear. The only difference between the D407F 130E70 17 and the D408F 130E70 18 is the size. The pattern is the same except reversed. I've got a call into the Consumer Affairs dept at Dunlop, but I haven't received a call back. Anybody know anyting about this? I'm concerned this is an error and I'm not mounting them until I know for sure.

We'll see then. Oddly enough, I've got almost 11k on my RG and there's plenty of tread left both front and rear and I've been pleased with them.
I just bought the 2010 wheels/tires to update my 09 to have the 2010 look and have a change of wheels/tires.

Icant see what all the fuss is about i live in australia and our roads are hard on the tyres over here but my 2009 i have had a great run out of my tyres my rear tyre lasted 19.000 klm and i am still going on my front tyre with 25.000 klm on it but am about to change it i think the dunlops are a great tyre
