Howling front brake
My front brakes make a howling sound especially when slowing down below about 10mph. Brakes only have 5500 miles on them. Any ideas what is causing this and how to stop it?

I have a 07 roadking and my brakes make the same sound if you hit the brakes hard the sound will go away but if you get about 10 mph then you here the brake howl. I was thinking of putting some floating rotors to see if it will take the howl away. I have tried taking the calipers apart and cleaning them. I put high temp grease on the pins and put some crc break quite on the back of the pads. Nothing work’s

My '05 Ultra did the same thing. The dealer had a service letter that involved swaping the rotors around where they were turning opposite their intended direction. They never made another sound. You may be able to look it up on the forum.
