One word of caution guys with Dyna Beads. Make sure you have a very clean and dry air source. If you get any moisture in the tire the beads will clump or stick all the way around inside the tire. At this point all balancing effects of the beads go out the windows.
If you are on a trip it will be a long trip home. We are a dealer and have installed them on several lots of bikes. I ran them in my personal bike before I agreed to sell them. Worked great on my sport touring bike. Did not like them on my EG. They do work, just be aware of your air source.
I just replaced both tires on my FLHTC. I went with the Dyna beads. They seem to work great. I got mine with the tire from Shadetree. They are close to me and hard to beat their prices on tires and mounting. 8.99 for 2ozs. The Idea of going to a truck supplier sounds good. I read on a Rice rocket forum that a guy was usig Air soft gun pelllets. He said he would weigh out 2oz, but had to put them in while mounting the tire. http://www.shadetreepowersports.com/
