Default New Chrome Pad Pins - Installation

My bike got some holiday presents, like new chrome brake pad pins, among other goodies. What is the proper way for the pins to be swap? Calipers and brake pads are fine, just need to swap the pins. Thanks.

I would do them one at a time, so the pad does not slip, using a little never-seize on them and torque to spec.

Really, the truth is I would use the opportunity to service the calipers and replace with the new pins when putting it back together.

Lyndall Racing brake company has article on it here:

I would also recommend a service manual.

Thanks for your comments. First, I have a well used service manual, but pin installation is only shown when pads are replaced. The kit I purchased is not the one from H-D (but a Gardner-Westcott one), but the H-D one has installation instructions which can be downloaded. Those describe steps to install the chrome pins. So all is well.
