Hi Gang,
just looking for opinions based on your use of the products. Buying some Hog Pro Wheels and wondering if I should just put my stock tires from the Blackline on them or go ahead and just have Hog Pro throw on a set of Metzlers,Avons or Dunlops. I think the Stock tires have tubes and these would not...I Think?
Also if I do buy them with tires. Thoughts on how easy or hard it is to install myself vs a shop. I have ABS too.
Get yourself the factory service manual for your bike, if you are unsure what to do changing your wheels. You will have to swap over brake rotors and rear pulley, check wheel alignment, belt tension etc, possibly bearings if the Hog-Pro come without. You will save the cost of the book several times over just doing a wheel change, compared with getting a dealer to do it for you!
As for tyres I'm a fan of Avons, which are my preferred brand.
