Appreciate any input you can provide in regards to this. I have a 08 Softail Nightrain (FXSTB). I recently purchased a set of the Southern Motorcycle Company black contrast poker wheels (http://www.southern-mc.com/blpowhset.html). I am currently waiting for them to come in.
I ordered the 21 x 2.15 wheel for the front (which was same size of stock) and a 18 x 5.5 wheel for the rear. The rear is a 200mm wide wheel. However, the stock tire was a 17 x 5.5 tire, so I need a low profile tire for the rear. I am looking for advice, and recommendations on which tire (brand, size etc) I should purchase for the front and the rear wheels. And also, if there are some good hook ups on them somewhere. Greatly appreciate the input/advice. I ride pretty aggressive, so I want something quality that I'll get some miles out of and some great handling.
Thanks again, Joe

Dennis Kirk and Jake Wilson are the main two places that come up around the forum. Also, Metzler and Avon seem to be the prevailing preferences on brand. I myself use Dennis Kirk and Metzlers. If you do a search you'll find a plethora of threads on the subject. Good luck!
