Soft front brakes- Need help

Default Soft front brakes- Need help
I recently bought 2004 Road King and the brakes are really soft. I need to pull the lever in about halfway before I get any braking. I thought it might be air in the lines so I have bled both lines down at the wheel and I have even tried to bleed up on the master cylinder with no luck. If anyone can help with any recommendations- I would really appreciate it.

I got it fixed- I followed the tips in the brake fluid poll for cleaning my caliper pistons and it worked.

I had the caliper pistons cleaned and it worked for 500 miles and went back to soft. Had the lines bled and it did nothing. My indy shop says I need a new master cylinder but even if I change it out it will probably only engage after halfway mark.....doesn't sound normal to me....especially since I've been riding sport bikes most of my life....

2004 road king bought recently with 1,500 miles....I now have 5k miles on it

had the master cylinder replaced.....did nothing! Now I'm going to have the calipers rebuilt.....I'm guessing it will do.......NOTHING!

just had the calipers rebuild.....feels the most solid I've ever felt it.....I'll let you guys know if it last......

it's been 500 miles since having the calipers rebuilt. It solved the problem!!! The brake works amazingly well....I've never had it feel this solid.....

guess im going to have to rebuild my front ones there the same way and i ve done eveything else even changed the lines so i guess i l try the calipers now and see if that helps
