I have an '11 road king classic. Just about 6k on mileage and was wondering whats the recommendation for tires these days. Looking for most mileage, not old yet, so comfort isn't paramount.
I have ran avons Venoms on my '02 heritage softail, handled great, but wore out quick, and just found out they don't manufacture tires for '09 and later touring??
Michelin Commander II's. They will handle as well as an Avon, but weara lot longer. I have just a rear right now and can confirm the handling but not the mileage yet.
Cody, welcome to HDF from the UK. Call into the Touring forum here and use search for tyres (or however you like to spell it!) and stand back - on second thoughts get yourself a long drink first! There are champions of every brand on the planet, so you could also save yourself a lot of time and just chose one at random. I prefer Avon, but......
