Anyone done an upgrade other than pads and braided line. I am thinking 13" rotor or dual disc.
Does a fatbob slider fit FXD without stuffing around??
i have checked out many threads here and in Aus, it seems easy if you spend big bucks, but I want to know if some one has first hand knowledge, specially on 2010 FXD and without the big bucks.
I would look into a 6-piston caliper upgrade. This would allow you to run that with a bigger 13" rotor, giving you optimum stopping power for your FXD.
You can also bolt on the bagger Brembo calipers with an 11.8" rotor. It will greatly increase your stopping power. I did this on my 02 Dyna and it rocks. Lyndall carbon composite rotors, gold pads and braided lines. If you have question on how to do this ask. I am glad to help.

I got motivated yesterday and went on ebay and bought a set of brembo calipers with the bolts. Just for grins I also ordered the brembo back brake and caliper mount.
Hoping the front brakes go right onto my FXDF Fat Bob... Oh yeah, got the 11.8" rotors from the same guy.
Haven't seen anything online about anybody switching the back brake out, but I'm gonna give it a shot.
A cheap brake upgrade?! I'm not sure there is such a thing! Take a look in the Dyna forum, where you should find more info from members who have investigated and done it. Out of interest, I have twin 6-pot calipers with 13" full floating front rotors on my Glide, plus of course 4-pot rear and floating rotor. Doesn't come cheap!
You'd do well to wait until you have some big bucks available......
