Great I'll look for some tomorrow. Thanks for the help. And if it doesn't work I look into powder coating it.
Well before you spray clean off any wax from the metal polish with lacquor thinner or gas, that will help the clear stick, and if it is left over glue it will come off.
Use just a small amount on a rag wrapped over your finger, just on the bare spot.
Came across clear coat touch up pen. Does anyone have any experience with these. I think I would be more able to treat the exact location needed to be corrected with a pen vs spraying it?

I have them on my 07 Deluxe and even moved them out on the rear set as the custom bags covered them up....I don't LIKE the look at all as I've worked hard and spent lots of $$$$ to get it looking as much like a DuoGlide as I can...so why did I move them...DOT requires them, and if someone ever hits you...a sharp insurance company lawyer will twist it to show you non-compliant and contributed to the accident....

I have used the pen in other applications...its not glassy smooth but if you put a couple coats on then use 1000 grit wet sand...very carefully...and then polish with a very fine polish...mothers makes a couple pastes and the cleaner wax is extremely fine, although I usually have to work up to that with the paste...take you time and tape the area so the surrounding finish isn't effected...remove the tape just before you have the desired gloss and feather to the area with the polish...nothing to loose...
Hey, that was a nifty idea you had there. What the heck, a guy don't need no stink'n reflectors on his forks. After all it's a well known fact that car drivers have NO difficulty at all seeing motorcycles, especially at night.
