Again guys this wheel is made like a buell wheel but not from a buell p.mconfirmed it's for a softail.I'm not looking for anything other to warn othersthis wheel is on a lot of super bikes busa and r1 comes to mind.
Sorry you are having problems.
Pictures are of poor quality and direction, requires individuals to be a detective in order to understand what we are looking at.
no the wheel has a weld it's still there it's been pulled off the metal. This is why I wanted to get the word out so bad how many more are out there and how many
styles of this wheel are there. I tell you one thing if this was a front rim I would be dead... I sent p.m. photos they would not tell me how offten it happens I also found
some on e-bay.If you see these rims on some ones bike tell them get them checked
out I would just get them off my bike.
Consider documentation with National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
This can be done online.
An investigation might be conducted.
If it is a wheel problem the investigation may save a life.
A situation as posted in the pictures should be of importance to a manufacturer in my opinion regardless of age.
Thank's guys it's all fun and game till someone dies The other thing I've
been thinking is what if peaple have already been killed and thats why
p.m. is stone walling me. I have sent a report to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). An investigation might be conducted.
If I can prove wheel problem regardless of age.My last e-mail to p.m.
was a plea for help production numbers and styles of wheels made this way I asked if they would use there website to warn others that these wheels have a life span of ten years that was too days ago still waiting for that e-mail.
