98" build
The install of Andrews G37's complete. Pistons will be installed in jugs latter today.
I'll try and take more photos.

Your one step ahead of me. I am waiting for my parts to arrive in the mail before I go any farther. Are you planning on installing the pistons in the jugs before attaching them to the connecting rod? Are the c-clips for the new pistons different than stock? If not I can see I will have some fun getting those back in.

I'll get the engine back together before I tear into the tranny. I'm already out of room on my workbench.

Yes, that is the plan, and I'll check on the c clips, don't think there is any difference, but there still in the packing right now.

the wristpin clips are simple to install (right Dawg?).
Be sure to install one for each pistion on the bench, before sliding the piston(s) in the cylinder(s).
With the piston/cylinder in place and wristpin lubed & fully instered through piston & rod, all that's left is the clip ~ WAIT, don't forget the o-ring on the base of the jug!
Looking at the wristpin hole in the side of the piston, you'll see a notch, usually @ about 7:00. To the best of your ability, "pinch" the clip closed and insert it with the opening (opening in the clip)180 degrees from the notch. Using an awl with the tip in the notch, simply snap it in. It's really simple.
Another saftey measure.... don't take the rags out of the bores arounf the rods until after you've snapped the clip in place.

You make this sound so easy.....
Those little boogers flew everywhere when I was taking it apart.
Wish they used c-clips (spiral locks) like what was on my H-Beam rods.

Don't forget to wear safety glasses when you attempt to put the clips in. They do fly around occasionally. You're bringing back memories, I did my build last year about this time.
