Default Detachable hardware part numbers

Hello..

I picked up an 03 Ultra Classic, and I want to get the part numbers so I can quick release my tour pack. The local HD stores here in MD can't give me a straight answer. Thanks for the help.

have a look at the green section of the harleypand a catalogue. You will have to piece a kit together. There is not one for an ultra as few riders ever take off their tour pak. get with a service and parts guy and they should be able to come up with something that works

The docking hardware comes in two kits. 53804-06 is the rear kit for the detachable 2-up tourpak(53276-04). The front kit is 53803-06, and is used for detachable sissy bars or the solo tourpak. They say they don't fit the FLHTCUI, but they do. You just have tuck away all the wiring under the seat and side covers and do something with your antennas. Hope this helps.

Not 100% certain about this on your bike as I have a 2006 EG standard that I added the tour pak rack to, but in my situation the dealer told me that I had to have the lay down tag bracket for it to work. I told him that I'd try it w/o. I had no problem whatsoever keeping the stock bracket.

For two up all you need is 53804-06 and the 53276-04 detachable tourpak rack. On my 05 Ultra, the license plate bracket is part of the original tourpak rack. I installed a Custom Chrome laydown bracket to get the plate underneath the detachable rack and to have it stay on the bike when I remove the tourpak. If you want to add a detachable passenger backrest for two up riding without the tourpak, you will also need the 53803-06 kit.
