Parts used:
ebayed wrinkle black primary outer cover
Cometic PRIMARY GASKET hd-60547-06 ; cometic (C09145F5)
derby cover donated by modular earlier in the thread. (thank you!)

ness kits showed up:
dropping them off for powder in the morning

swapped away that dang chrome primary cover:

evil chrome primary- draining the fluid

learned this from watch you forum folks..

new gasket

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...l#post14691077

install to easy to cover but, i did manage to fk it up some how... the little ears popped of the delphi connector on the new module.... had to drill out the area and create studs from tiny screws... fixed. then forgot that i had unplugged the spark cables to avoid a start... could figured out why the bike refused to start.... dumb a**

no idea how i f'd it up.... but, fixed.

quit for the day... will program and install foot pegs tomorrow

Oh yeah, now that's the business! I just can't seem to find room in my heart for a chrome primary.

Nicely done!

Too late at this point but if I'd have realized you were going to change out the cover so quickly I would have suggested replacing the shoddy auto primary chain tensioner with a nice Baker Attitude manual tensioner while you had the primary cover off...

We'll get it next time

yeah i remembered it while i was looking at the guts... but, it's not hard getting that cover off and on, i would just need a new gasket when i go back in. i was dreading it but, getting that cover off/on was the easiest thing i did yesterday. what was scarey was the super low amount of fluid that came out... no bueno... glad i addressed it
