Just got a 2015 and already find the stock windshield is not cutting it for me. I,m getting buffeting from around the sides and top of the stock shield. I see that Memphis Shades offers a "FLH Spoiler shield" for 2014/5 Rushmore street glides.
Does anyone have any experience with this shield? or for that matter any suggestions of someone else's shield? I,m 6 feet tall and was considering the Memphis Shades 6.5 inch shield because I do want to be able to see over the top of the shield but am concerned as to whether that will eliminate most of the buffeting
Long Ride Shields. Although, I doubt any 6.5 shield will work for you at your height. I have several LRS shields from 10-12", I can look over them and all work perfectly getting rid of the air and improving the ability to hear or keep glasses on my face. I'm just over 6'1"
There are hundreds of posts about this, so do a search. Getting a taller LRS recurve is a good choice; others have installed the fork fangs and lowers with success. Also, make sure your helmet isn't getting loose.

Yes, a correctly sized re curved windshield of your choice and some fork wind deflectors of your choice is the end of buffeting.
Recently traded my RK for an SGS. Had the same results and the buffeting was terrible on my hearing. Tried the 7 and 10" Windsplitter. Didn't like either - 10" now on the shelf. After reading a ton on this site, I purchased a 9" LRS Ultra Elite in light tint (this web site has discount code). It's great. I am 6' w/32" inseam. I see over the shield perfectly.

I have the Memphis Shades and love it. I also have the HD 10" windsplitter and would say the MS is just as good if not better. It does not have any distortion and I really like that it is fairly flat on top - I don't get the center part of a curved shield in my eye line of sight. I'm 5'11" and can just look over the shield.
I also have the fangs, lowers, and fairing wind deflectors installed. Just came back from a 5700 KM trip (tail of the dragon) and I am very impressed with the calm space created behind the fairing.
