Default Comparison Question

Does the New 2014/2015 Ultra Limited have more power than say the stock 2011 Screaming Eagle Ultra with the 110 engine??? With about 10,000 miles they seem to be around the same price. And which would you prefer and why?

I would go with the 2014 or 15 . The Rushmore changes are worth it alone .Plus warranty. Not sure but I think 103 with exhaust and good tune would be as much power as the 110. Probably run cooler too. I was just at dealer did not realize how many changes the Rushmore bikes have . Significant changes . Might have to upgrade myself . Just my opinion.

I have rode a 2014 CVO Limited with stage 1 True Duals and my 2014 Limited with 2 in 1 and both tuned. It is pretty much a toss up. The 14 cvo still has the 9.2 CR and the Limited is 10 CR and both are wet heads. Not sure if the CVO has the 255 or the 14 cams. Probably the 255 is why they left the CR so low. I have also rode some earlier CVO's and they are about the same as the 14 on power. Handling different story.

The Rushmore changes (most of us consider them improvements) are too many to list. I generally keep my bikes for several years so I like to buy new. I believe that if you bought a 14/15, the longer you had it, the happier you would be with your decision to buy it.

Good Luck!

I agree with the above, with "all" the upgrades on the 14/15's it is a better ride than earlier models. If the only reason was power then I would not of traded my '12 in for the '14 just in the way it handles was worth switching.
