I have the stock air cleaner, Screaming Eagle Street Cannons and factory tune.
on a 2014 limited.
If I decat my OE pipe do I need to have a stage 1 tune installed
Thanks
Opinions vary greatly on this. You don't necessarily have to have a tuner since you are only modifying the exhaust. However, Harley's come from the factory lean so it would not hurt if you did add some type of fuel management such as the Xied's or a Power Vision. Hope this helps you out
For the ones who have tried with and without the CAT, is there truly a noticeable change in the amount of heat on the right leg?
I know its been commented on a lot but answers seem to be all over the place.
The difference at the cat with vs without is about 300˚F
Thanks everyone, great to hear about the heat reduction, I know, sooner or later by the time the warmer weather gets here Im going to get rid of it or check out a new set of headers.

I followed your link and read up on it some and it seems the power vision is a good one to go with if you are a beginner in the tuning of your fuel injected motorcycle cause it has the auto tune feature, is that right?

You are right, and even if your not a beginner. Devin and Kevin (DK) both have the Power Vision on their bikes and love them! As the Power Vision does have the auto tune feature it still comes with a pre-programmed EFI map for your bike. If you have any other questions feel free to ask
