Default Help with trigger switch on LH switch housing!!!

I am installing the KiWAV chrome switch housings on my 2015 RG. RH side is done, fits and looks great! LH side is a PITA because the trigger switch for scrolling through the trip meters seems too big for the hole. I know some one knows the trick to this, please teach me!!!!

There maybe a few more threads for Trigger Switch. I remember this one because no one knew what the trigger switch was, but we do now lol.

Take the button off. Pop it up about 1/8 inch slide it to the left. Use small screw driver under the button. It will seem a little hard to slide left but it will come off. Goes back on a lot easier.

Thanks fellas! I got it. I figured that trigger came off, just didn't know exactly how. Lift and slide to the left!

I made a discovery that some may not know about: Harley has instal instructions on their site. You go to the part you're installing, click on "More Info" tab and there is a link to the PDF file for the same instructions that come with that accessory.

Any way, I bought the Tiawan made KiWAV chrome switch housings off of EBay for $53 including shipping. It took 3 weeks for the postal service to deliver, but since we are mired in the middle of winter, no biggie. They fit up great, and look great as well. IMHO well worth the $100 savings from the motor co parts.

Thanks for the write up/pics. I was considering these but was leery of the quality. They look great.

I know the HD instruction sheet says to use a same screw driver to pry it off too, but its not need. I easy took mine off easy with my fingers only by just lifting the left edge of trigger cap with my thumb and push/sliding to the left with my index/middle finger. It easily came off without struggle of damage to the cap or the inner plunger/spring.

I know I'm not the only one that has struggled with this and the instructions. Right?
