Definitely use the wired headsets and the infotainment system as the hub. Much more flexibility and control of the bikes systems (voice control of radio, nav, phone, cb, intercom).

I'd just use one speaker for each. That would also help me know which one is the source of the phone call or whatever because of the "side" that I hear it on.

Yep, I was going to go that route as well just didn't want the trouble of then having the possibility of having my wife intercom in while I was on a phone call and start talking and I'm on the phone and that whole bit....

If you go this route, let me know how it works out for you. Weather has slowed down the delivery of the cable to my local HD and now may be the end of the week. before I try using the under fairing hack.....

That would drive me nuts only listening to stereo in one ear.

I have 4 speakers on the bike, I don't see myself wanting music in the helmet....

But that is subject to change. Like me selling all of my HD headsets, because "I don't wear full-face helmets...

Helmet speakers for the wired set and ear buds for the Bluetooth set.

Sena is great. I would go for the 20s though. This is because it has FM radio as well better quality ear speakers and increased capibility. It also has the longest range and connects with the most riders. Sena has great software support and releases updates. There is also a phone app that allows you to track connections with multiple riders. Sound quality is excellent but you will need a FF helmet to get the best sound quality with any headset. Wind blowing in your face will not provide the best sound quality. With a FF the version of Sena headsets the version with the separate mike rather than the boom mike is best.
These will allow connections with other brands of headsets when you are riding with a group. Most better quality FF helmets are built with ear pockets to allow the installation of a head set.
