After I release my clutch lever the last 1/8 of an inch or so releases slowly after about a 5 second delay. Two different dealers say this is normal. Any thoughts? Bike is a 2014 flhtk.

Is the clutch slipping until the last 1/8 is released?? I know that when I first got my Ultra Classic the juice clutch had a definite different feel than other juice clutches I've had on bikes. Definitely different than a cable clutch feel.

Since it hasn't been asked, I'll ask. Is your bike on the clutch recall list. If so, have you had it serviced?

I think you have an issue. I want the clutch to react at the exact time I want it to react with no surprises. That's a safety issue and not normal, it been said already 5 seconds is a long time. I Have a 14 limited also and wouldn't ride it like that.
My 2014 FLHTK doesn't do that. Just because yours wasn't on the recall list doesn't mean it might not have air in line.
Take it back to dealer ( or different dealer).
If they still say it's normal try one of the 2014s or 15s on the floor and see if they perform same way. I don't think they will.

Reason: Spelling
wutcha mean.. 5 second delay? You talking about when you let go of the clutch, it takes 5 seconds to engage? Like everyone else says... there should be ZERO delay on any part of the clutch system.
