VIED also worked well on my 12 with cats removed. Made the engine run even cooler, less downshifting, and pulled better when riding two up.
Nightrider will tell you where to set the mixture depending on what you have modified on your bike.
Interesting to me that he recommended I turn the mixture down just a bit when removing cats. Doing so added additional power on the high end while maintain the strong pull down low. Clever gadget.

I saved the OEM header pipe, and got a Rinehart Slimline Dual header pipe installed it
about two months ago. I tuned my Air Fuel Ratio to 14.2:1 now it's faster, louder, and
runs cooler. Just Saying no cross talk from O2 sensors.
