I wonder how these compare to the Day Maker reflector version? I changed the projector on my bike within the first week of ownership over to the reflector.

It is a combination of both. If you look at one head on, you can see the hockey stick shaped LED lens at the right and left outer edge of the housing. These are what give the headlight the wide angle spread. The projector beam is for distance.

Maybe i missed it, but is there a pic, or vid of this light while cornering ?Seems like a good motorcycle light, if corners and turns are covered

Thanks. I'd like to see a picture of a bike on the side stand and straight up to see how the light falls off.

If there is a light with better side coverage for turns, I'll buy it.

It doesn't look like this light is going to fill in the corners like it needs?
Here's my original question - I see the additional brightness from that picture and it does look better, but I'm not totally unhappy with the stock headlight if I'm riding straight up and down. I'm wondering if this headlight addresses the sharp, laser straight cut off in height that leaves you blind in corners - especially a corner up or downhill corners where the stock headlight literally - literally - makes it so that you're riding into the abyss.

I know what you are saying, and my answer would be it is definitely better, but no, it does not fix that issue to the degree that I would want. I think you are going to have to add running lights to get that corrected. I am not interested in doing that, so I believe my new light is the best I am going to be able to do without adding more lights. Hope this helps.

Thanks for that info, it's exactly what I'm looking for. I agree with you about the Aux lights - and I love how my Limited looks as it is, and I'm not super excited to hang more lights off it. That said, we have some veeeeery large animals wandering around here at night and I'm going to need to do something. As it is right now, I actually avoid riding my Limited at night - which sucks because A: I work during the day, so night rides are my only real opportunity to get in a ride during the week and B: I love riding at night for the cool air and the reduction in traffic.

Thanks again!
