I live in the mountains with all sorts of oversize critters and other mountainous hazards --- I also travel on a very windy road -- the factory lights on my Limited are terrible in the curves -- about 50' -75' out at a 45 degree angle when going into a curve there is a horrendous blank spot --- I don't care how much you try to adjust the main headlight or the fog lamps --- these lights are dangerous --- big time!!
I have the Gen II setting in the garage and hope to get mounted in the next couple days --- hope it helps a bit. I like others do not want to have to hang additional lights on my bike but---------

nothing is easy for me. I am trying to connect the plug from the JW speaker light into the connector from the HD LED wiring harness adapter and it is really tight, I can't seem to get the parts to seat. There are 2 ears on the harness connecter, right and left, that can be pressed in, do you have to squeeze these as you assemble the connectors or is there some trick to this?

Fairing Models
1. The two capped wires are not used. Secure to the jumper
harness with electrical tape.
2. Connect the LED adapter harness to the main harness
connector
NOTE
The fourth wire on the LED adapter harness is not used in all
cases. It is for the position light on some headlamps.
3. Follow the instruction included with the new LED headlamp
to connect and finish headlamp installation.
4. Install main fuse. Follow the instructions in the service
manual.

They click onto the OUTSIDE of the LED. There should be little dog ears for them to click onto. As long as you are talking about the ones in the red circles.

yep, that's them. I finally just put a little electrical contact lube on the parts and pushed the connectors together. There is still a small gap left. It just looks a little funky but it works. It looks like you are supposed to squeeze the ears (in the red circles in your picture) when pulling the connectors apart. Anyway it is together. I aligned the headlight and had to raise it up maybe 4 inches from its original setting. Test drive tomorrow if it stops raining.

Yes, they lock onto the "bulb" to hold the harness in place.

Where is the best place to buy the light that is an authorized dealer? And does anyone know what the part number is for the wiring harness that would be needed for a 2014 street glide special?

So I tried out the evolution 2 headlight tonite. I have a street glide and there is only the one headlight, no extra lamps up front. It is bright of course. Street signs light up very brightly, a little too much.
There is still an issue of forward visibility during sharp turns. It is quite evident on low beam, which has a sharp horizontal horizon. When you lean into a turn, one end of the horizon rises, the other sinks and the mid portion of the lighted horizon moves to about 50 feet or maybe less in front of you. On high beam it is better, the horizon seems less distinct and I found it was the only way to comfortably go through sharp turns.
I only spent about a half hour tonight with it, and I will give it a little longer. I am pretty sure it is aligned properly. Overall I think it is probably a better light for jeeps that don't lean.

A couple questions:

1) I already have the Daymaker on my Roadking, and am not too happy with the high beam performance. Does the Evo II make a notable improvement over it that's worth the upgrade cost?

2) Is the Evo II harness plug and play for replacing the Daymaker?

TIA.

Here is the kicker, I was having issues with the eBay guy and contacted JW speaker and they said your S.O.L. If you don't buy from a authorized dealer, there is no warranty and there for they could not help me.

The eBay guy might be cheaper but if you ever need it warrantied, your screwed from JW speaker.
The flickering does happen on some vehicles, Jeeps seem to have enough of an issue they built a special light (8700J) with an anti flicker circuit built in - there are anti flicker harnesses you can get if there's an issue.

I have to wonder if Amazon is an authorized dealer or not.

Based on your sig photo - you stock light has an H4 plug and the EVOII plugs directly into that - no adapter harness is needed.
