One thing that really helped me, in respect to the lack of width in the beam pattern with my JW Evo 2, was the Custom Dynamics Ringz LED inserts in the turn signal nacelles of my Street Glide. I'm using the factory amber lenses, which actually seems to help, by turning the really bright white of the LED running lights into a high-visibility yellow flood. I imagine that if someone wanted even more light, that using smoked or clear lens would make a noticeable difference in color.... regardless, white LED turn signals might be worth looking into.
Ok, I am totally confused, which happens often. Is the JW speaker 8700 evolution 2 direct plug and play for a 2014 Limited that has a Daymaker LED headlight? Or do I need to get the HD adapter?
Thanx in advance,
Paul

Its a bit bass ackwards..........
If you started with a standard 3 prong plug on your bike (H4, sealed beam, etc) then NO - you don't need an adapter harness.
If you started with an HD Daymaker, or dual halogen (any 14+ model) then YES - you DO need an adapter harness.
The reason that the HD Daymaker was designed to plug directly to the harness whereas the 8700 or 8700 EVOII was set up as a retrofit with a 3 prong pigtail.

Thanx for the intell, I now understand what is going on.
Leet the rest of us know what you think of it. I hate the headlight on my Limited. This thing has the worst lighting I have riden with in a very long time.

I sure will, I figure if it is any better than the Daymaker then it is money well spent. The funny thing is I ordered it last night at 22:00/10:00PM Amazon Prime two-day shipping, but it is coming today less than 24 hours; wow. You gotta love that Amazon Prime, and it is free at least for six months. I get the student discount even at 57 years old.
