Default FP3 Post Autotune Parameter Changes?

Hey guys,

I just completed FP3 autotuning and must say the scoot is running great.

I was wondering what post-tune adjustments are recommended, if any. Was thinking of dropping the idle to about 950 RPM and the throttle progressivity to Moderate.

Anything other settings to consider? Thanks for any tips.

I did change the throttle progressivity to moderate. Throttle now seems more responsive. What would be the point of dropping the idle RPM?

Mostly for the exhaust note. Looking for more of that classic TD lopping sound.

Dropping that idle might make your compensator more noticeable. And maybe some other guys will chime in too but hot idle oil pressure might be on the low side as well if you drop the idle. I hear ya though about wanting that classic idle back.

I changed my throttle progressivity to high and really liked how responsive the bike was but later changed it back to stock. It made the drive-ability more difficult because it was so sensitive....every little movement from bumps would make the bike jerk forward.

I wouldn't touch the idle rpm's....they are set for a reason

I had set my throttle to moderate also but recently changed it back to stock. Like you, I thought it was too sensitive and hurt the drivability.

I like the throttle set at moderate. To me it makes it feel like my Heritage with a cable and Mikuni carb. I think setting the throttle to be more sensitive is something to try. It is always easy to go back. The idle, seems good to me at 1000 and oil pressure is at 13 hot. I don't want it to go lower.

Did you see any thing change in your VE tables? just asking because when I did my auto tune the VE tables were the same as the base map I flashed.

Same here. With the progressive changed to moderate it feels real close to my older Heritage with cable and S&S Carb. I alway thought the acceleretor pump on that carb gave it some much needed pep in its step.

There is no "high" setting for the throttle. The choices are standard, standard plus, moderate, aggressive, race, or custom. Which setting did you have it on that made you drop it back to stock?
