that's real strange, it shouldn't have.

I just checked mine, av/spam software doesn't block it.

I think Caberto's key tip is "Export Selection" with the route that is highlighted ONLY. I'm a Garmin MapSource guy from way back and was forced to convert to Basecamp. It works flawlessly for me as long as I have enough waypoints. I place one at just about every turn.
