Last year, upon contemplating the purchase of my first cruiser, one of club brother's who is HD to his core said to me... "So, you've finally come to your senses and you're going to purchase a Harley. I know you love your BMW K1300S and it's a wonderful bike, I'm sure... But... You will not ride that bike any more".
I looked at my buddy and said... You must be smoking something! I'm getting this Harley for the relaxed ride and to add a cruiser to the stable. To which he replied.... "OK" with a smile...
I can't say that I don't ride my BMW although the frequency has diminished greatly as as result of the Harley. My 2014 Street Glide has become my primary ride with 7000+ miles on her since my dealer said she was ready in May of this year. She's been as solid as they get and playing dressup is almost as much fun as riding her. I'm sure some of you have similar stories...
Owning a Harley has been more of an experience for me... I got an awesome machine, which ended up being my gateway into a family of incredible people and riders who make ownership just that more fun!
It is a nice looking ride. When I got my first Harley I had already had 13 other bikes in the past all Japanese.
I did not have a bike for several years at the time that I purchased my first Harley. I have not looked back since. I am on my 4th and 5th Harley's at this point in time and i like to rack up the miles.

I have thought about buying other brand bikes for commuting and such but then I realize that I will not ride them as much as i do the Harley's thus the idea is scrapped.
