Default Fuel Winterization Question

I've owned quite a few motorcycles over the last 45 years but my 2014 Ultra Limited is the first fuel injected one. I have about four months of winter where I live. My fuel winterization practice has been to put a small amount of fuel injector cleaner in a full tank gas, run it for a few minutes, and shut it off. I'd use something like Chevron Techtron products. It always kept the carbs clean and I had no problems in the spring. Did it for 17 years on my Gold Wing. What do you do with your fuel injected bikes? Thanks, Tom

Sea-Foam appears to be popular, I have always just used the Harley Ethanol Guard.

I use Sta-bil or seafoam in the tank over the winter. Tho really the gas blends seem to have a lot longer of a shelf life these days so you probably fine with no additive. I have an Acura thats had the same tank of gas for the last 5 years (sta-bil in the first year), it started right up when i drove it to the dealer 2 months ago for the airbag recall.

Sea-Foam works great in my opinion. Plus I have a Pure Gas App and I try to run ethanol free gas if possible. Most of the time the premium gas is pure gas.

I use Sta-Bil ion all my stored gas, has worked well for me so far. The biggest test for me is my snow blower. It sits for the entire off season but still starts in 1 or 2 pulls, every year for the last 8 years.

Fill the tank with gas.... ride it into your garage, put a tender on it...and let it sit until you are ready to ride again.

I live in Michigan - this is my 4th fuel injected bike... never had a problem.
