hi folks
i currently wear a pair of red wing work boots when i ride. i need to wear these for work again so i need some new riding boots. what do you guys wear? they dont need to be watrproof cuz i have gaiters, i prefer at least an 8" tall boot preferably with steel toe. i know its a personnal thing with gear but im looking for a variety of suggestions.
thanks, ride safe.
ariat metal mounts; not steel toed but have rode with them for several years they are waterproof and have held up very well. best riding boots i have ever owned
These http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...formance-boots they are expensive, but they are the only boots I will own. They are the best pair of riding boots I have owned. I was just thinking yesterday that I should buy a back-up pair, in case HD stops making them.

I wear Ariat western boots as well. Super comfortable, but hate that they aren't made in America. Insoles are great and the rubber soles are durable and great for riding.
I get a new pair of steel toe work boots every year, so I just wear last years to ride. I always get Gortex boots so the waterproof is all ready there.
