Default I Must Be Getting Old!

So today on April 17th which by the way is my 51st B-Day was my first ride of the new season here in the North East on my newly acquired 2015 Limited Low I purchased last July. It was a glorious day to ride at 63 degrees.
As I am riding along I say to myself what a glorious bike as I am very satisfied with the sound from the stock exhaust & stock performance from the HO 103 engine. I'm also satisfied with the stock sound from the stock Boom Box Infotainment stereo. I truly don't see a need to change another thing on this bike as I am totally satisfied with it. I did add a few chrome Do Dads such as a Chrome water pump cover, changed the stock narrow grips, added the chrome bag guards, changed out Harley's crappy stock shift linkage, & finally added the Harley top vinyl bag door protectors for my girlfriends feet upon mouting & dismounting the bike.
My last 2012 Street Glide had 8-10 G's in extras. This bike I'm satisfied with just as is. I must be getting Old! Maybe getting Old isn't so bad after all? LOL.

Happy Birthday you youngin. LOL. 68 is old. I always did engine mods on all my bikes. But the last 2, just A/C & slip-on mufflers & remap. Be safe.

Smart Siren for the security system, lighted hand control switches, adjustable rider back rest, CD Ringz upfront and HD saddlebag lights in the rear, that's it for me. Like the bike just the way it now is, nothing else needed...

Getting old or getting wise? I just put the stock mufflers back on my 16 SGS
I like listening to the radio, hearing the sounds of nature as I ride, plus long days touring the loud mufflers get tiresome....but to each their own. I don't have anything against a throaty exhaust, not loud but throaty....I may go back to some, but for now stock is fine.
I also leave the motor alone, runs fine for me

That's what I traded for the new SGS! 😄
I've had two HD Trikes and three Glodwing trikes....my shoulder and wrist doesn't work well with a trike....

I hear ya, I turn 50 this fall and going on 8 months and 8,000 miles on my '15 Limited and save for a few chrome add on's it bone stock.

Has to be the best bike I have owned in the last 20 years of Harley ownership.

In March i entered my 7th decade, so a slow protracted, making it my own, probably not the way to go. I put some things from my previous bike on the CVO, passing lights, windshield trim, HD linkage, CD turn lights, highway pegs, my reusable aluminum oil filter, seat backrest (70 you know), and of course the head pipes, tune, and slip ons.

They don't sound that loud to me, ears are about 75 percent, and i listen to music a good part of the time, but thru the helmet. And it sounds good.

I'm pretty much finished and honestly other than the backrest, all of the other stuff was done the first week.

Done...I think.....
