Got me one of those RAM mounts for my iPhone 6 Plus bc my phone was taking a beating in the saddle bags. I was going to mount it on my bars initially but right away noticed it was going to mark the bars up so ordered this little ball mount RAM-B-272U that I placed under my mirror and really liked the end result. Thought I'd share.
How secure is the iPhone 6Plus in that? I have the same model phone and am looking for a mount for it but want to be sure it will be snug and not fall out. Do you have the part number for the phone mount as well? Thanks in advance.

i have 12" bars and the RAM mount tether which keeps it pretty darn snug and with the bars I have no issues turning my bars full turn. I haven't had any issues in the past couple days riding with it and I live in an area where the roads are pretty crappy.

What am I missing here? My mirriors have those big *** acorn nuts and the sharts on the mirriors are threaded.
If you have stock bars you need to use something like this. I have a short one section clamp coming to try to eliminate the joint, but it still works pretty good!
