That's what I did. I was stumped, so I removed the whole assembly. Crazy how that one is upside down.

Success! Somehow all of the electronics, throttle, and lights all still work!

Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but there definitely were some snags. I pushed the bars up pretty far, now the cables from the master cylinder and clutch hit the Klockwerks windshield at full turn. I love them pushed forward, so I will likely take a dremmel and notch the windshield.

Glad there were few issues, sure beat paying Harley $1,500 to install them.

Congrats! Crazy what they charge for that huh? Then again they charge alot for everything. lol I noticed the same thing about the shield when I installed mine. I prefer a bit of pullback anyway, so running them in line with forks is no issue for me. "Welcome home" brother

Thanks, bro. Maybe I will pull them back a bit. Not looking forward to pulling it back apart, but it should be a 15 minute job.

More of a PITA than time consuming. Shouldn't take longer than you're expecting.

Yeah, I pulled them back a bit. They are still forward of in-line with the forks, but now the bars turn full lock.

Good luck. Make sure you watch Factory 47's install video on their site. I used the chain that they used in the video and it was pretty easy to pull the wires. I used baby powder to pull the TBW wires.

Take a picture of the back of the green plug before you de-pin it.

Go slow and pay attention and it should be pretty easy. I think I had about 4 hours to get it done. I bet if I did it again, it would be a lot faster.
