Just bought the kit and part # isn't on item or packaging. Have no idea if "A" or not. Any ideas?
Just opened mine up, on the bottom of the antenna it says Model NGVA1 and there is a 1603 in the bottom corner. Not sure if that's the upgraded antenna or not. What bothers me more in the manufacturing date on the module itself, April 2015. Might send it back for a newer manufactured module.

On page 2 of the instructions, you should see the part numbers:
I was using an Onyx module mounted to my handlebars and the reception kinda sucked. Found a pre-owned OEM XM module online for a C note. The wiring harness was almost as expensive at $85. Got an antenna off of Fleabay for $10 and mounted it inside the fairing. Integration was a snap, and the reception improved 99%. Now I have my Garmin 50 in a RAM mount on the bars. Got a great deal from XM as well. $20 promotional for 6 months.

Thank you, I checked and those are the numbers I have, no "A" after the antenna number. I spoke to Anthony at Boardtracker, her said all units shipped recently have the upgraded antenna so maybe the antenna is upgraded and the instruction page/numbers are not. I did make a mistake, looking closer at the module the manufacture date is 2016, not 2015 (old decrepit eyes, had to use a magnifying glass, LOL). I'll install tomorrow and see how the reception is. Wondering if anyone here has ordered JUST the upgraded antenna and if there's an "A" after that number.
That's the antenna I have, it came in a plastic bag inside the box with the module so no part number on the bag. I guess I have the newer one, thank you for taking the time to post pictures.
