That is the information I was looking for could not find any pics of the connector. All the HD XM antennas have a magnetic base.

It means it will not plug directly into the HD XM Module.

I think you can get an adapter though, but not sure.

Ok, so cut it to length and install a Fakra connector?

Yes, in theory.

You would need a 50 Ohms, FAKRA II SMB Plug, Keying Option K, Curry Yellow and the appropriate crimping equipment.

See attached .pdf for details.

Thanx for that intell, one more question, could one get this done at a car audio shop?

Probably not. Most car audio shops just don't need to custom make cables with Fakra connectors.

Antennas with RF shielded cables are finicky things. Improperly installed connectors, splices, coiled up extra cable all have a negative impact.

I'm sure the additional cable length can be coiled up and easily fit under the fairing or get this 4 ft version which has the magnetic mount.
