Love this bike but can't stand the burning between my shoulder blades. Tried different seat, hiway pegs, using cruise control. Nothing works except to spend $2000 on changing bars. Maybe I'll just sell it and buy a Vette. Ok rant over. Thanks for any help.
If it helps any it does go away over time after putting some miles down the highway I had the same problem when i started out but its not an issue anymore.. I also make a conscious effort to relax my shoulders when i am riding ... give it some time you will work through it...
It's probably the bars. It is a joke how low the bars are on these 27,000 bikes. I hear good things about the Khrome werks 2 +2 narrow sweepers, ordered mine Friday.
I agree on the bars, My road king did the same thing to me, Pain between the shoulders, I change to the 14 RK bars and the problem when away. The bars on the 13 sucked for me.
Its easy to do yourself and wont cost 2k to do. Plus, you can buy all the parts needed as the budget allows, then get a service manual and knock them out. It really is NOT hard to do at all. just take your time and go slow with the internal wires if you go that route.

OP, this is correct: seat time and relax, The relaxing takes practice.
